1. Date

19th - 26th March 2006

2. Venue

3. Entries

  • Entry Form A (Entry by Number) must reach to organizing committee by March 1, 2006
  • Entry Form B (Entry by Name) and Flight and Hotel inf. must reach to org. committee by March 10, 2006
  • Each Federation can send 1 boxer in each class.

4. Events

Competition will consist of the following events:

  1. AMATEUR MUAYTHAI COMPETITIONS

    All Weight categories as per WMF Rules in both Male and Female Senior and Junior.

    Junior boxer - I would like to propose that the Junior section which has been distributed to our members are left the same with the above extra two (2) categories, but the age limit must be over 10 years.

    *** You have to bring ONE REFEREE with you for every 1 - 9 participants ***

  2. AEROBIC MUAYTHAI
    1. Under 15 years age, Male and Female
    2. Over 15 years and less than 21 years age, Male and Female.
    3. Over 21 years age, Male and Female

    The event consists of demonstrations in the art of Aerobic Muaythai. There will be 3 participants simultaneously performing Aerobic Muaythai in the ring from each age group. There are no weight categories in this event. Each country will have to send a team of 3 persons in each. This event is open to both males and females, in separate categories. This is not a mixed event. This event will have Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for each age group category for both males and females.

  3. MUAYTHAI CONTEST
    1. Under 15 years age, Male and Female
    2. Over 15 years and less than 21 years age, Male and Female.
    3. Over 21 years age, Male and Female

    The event consists of demonstrations in the art of Wai Khru and Muayboran. fight each other but not real fight. There will be 2 participants simultaneously performing Wai Khru and Muay boran in the ring fromeach age group. There are no weight categories in this event. Each country will have to send a team of 2 persons in each age group. This is a team event performed by both team members simultaneously. This event is open to both males and females, in separate categories. This is not a mixed event.
    There is NO ENTRY FEE for this event.

    PLEASE NOTE THAT AS PER THE RULES OF MUAYTHAI THE MUAYTHAI COMPETITION WILL START WITH WAIKHRU. THIS IS PART OF MUAYTHAI AND CANNOT BE SEPARATED AS AN INDIVIDUAL EVENT. ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PERFORM WAIKHRU BEFORE THE BOUTS.

    This event will have Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for each age group category for both males and females. This event will have to be performed with the appropriate costume. The WMF will arrange for the costume for the participants at nominal rates.

5. Entry Fees

  1. AEROBIC MUAYTHAI - The Entry Fee will be USD 25 per team of 5 members each per age group.
  2. MUAYTHAI CONTEST - There is NO ENTRY FEE for this event
  3. MUAYTHAI COMPETITION - The Entry Fee will be USD 20 per participant.

The entry fees and WMF annual membership fee for year 2005 must be paid at the registration desk before starting the competition.

7. Coaching Course

The WMF has arranged for a detailed coaching course for persons conducting coaching in amateur Muaythai. It has been observed that a mere 2 days coaching course is not sufficient to effectively guide the persons interested in conducting proper coaching programs in the art of amateur Muaythai. Very often there is a big confusion regarding kick boxing and Muaythai. The WMF has arranged for experts in the art of amateur muaythai to conduct the DETAILED COACHING COURSE.

8. Referees and Judges Camp and Seminar

The WMF has arranged for a Referees and Judges Camp and Seminar. The WMF will be renewing the licenses and issuing fresh licenses for referees after the seminar and camp. The existing referees of WMF will be required to brush up their knowledge.

All existing referees are required to renew their license for the current year.
License renewal fees: USD 30 per person.

9. Rules and Regulation

The Competition will run in accordance with the W.M.F. Rules and Regulation.

10. Protests

10.1.
Appeal against decision of Referee/Judge should be immediately made by the team manager to the Jury.
10.2.
Event appeal to the Jury of Appeal must be accompanied by a deposit of $100.

11. Prize

Medal & Diploma will be rewarded to the 1st, 2nd, and joint 3rd places in each class.

12. Transportation Service

Shuttle bus will be arranged from Bangkok international airport to the official hotel and the official hotel to the venue only for the participating delegations that stay at our official hotel.

Please inform your flight schedule (arrival date, time and flight number) and hotel reservation by March 10th, 2006.

13. Flags / Anthems

Please bring audio - cassette tape or CD of your national anthem, and two national flags (72 cm x 120 cm).

14. Visa

Please take the VISA qualification to apply for VISA at the Thailand Embassy, Consulate or VISA Office in your country.

Notes : In case that your coaches and attendants don’t have your nationality, they might need their VISA qualifications even you don’t have to. Please check first then take the VISA qualification earlier.
