The World Muaythai Federation (WMF), which is currently the only international amateur Muaythai body, has authorized the Czech Muaythai Federation, the legitimate WMF member since this year’s 7 April, when the president of CMF Sir Marek Attila Janecek became the only WMF representative in the Czech Republic, to organize the 1st EMC & WMF Amateur Muaythai European Championships.
The 1st EMC & WMF Amateur Muaythai European Championships will take a place in the BC Sparta Praha hall from 17 to 24 October 2004.
To participate in the competition were invited 19 European countries, namely the

We believe that organizing of the Amateur Muaythai European Championships, where the elite European amateur Muaythai fighters will be presented to the general public, will not only contribute to the growth of the popularization of this sport in our country as well as abroad, but also become the next step on the way to achieve the recognition of the Muaythai sport as the Olympic sport.
